WTMC President, Mr. David Frinsco, donated mounds and mounds of assorted candies and treats to the Character Camp Safe Halloween event for children. Over the years, these community events have been attended by hundreds and hundreds of small super heroes, fairy princesses and movie stars. Children are invited to meet in a designated parking lot and go from trunk to trunk as generous donors and volunteers pass out candy and goodies and assist with games. Character Camp hosts this activity to allow kids to trick-or-treat while keeping them away from dangerous traffic, from possibly knocking at the doors of predators and from eating questionable treats. In addition, children are reminded that good character is what makes heroes special!
