Some families who really needed a boost surely got a lift this holiday season. One grandmother who is raising four foster children said, “I had just told my grandkids they were altogether getting one gift this year and they would all have to share it.” We were so excited to deliver loads and loads of bicycles, groceries, toiletries, toys, gift cards and household supplies to them and to various other needy families. Some commented how different this Christmas was in comparison to last year because of the generosity of Character Camp and our donors. It is our hope that our donors will help us to take foster kids to camp this summer at no cost. These are most often kids who really need a break in life.
