Marathon Galveston Bay has awarded a $4,500 grant to Character Camp to assist with the start-up of an interactive robotics program to help interest students in the La Marque ISD in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Students will be introduced to robotics programming and engineering. The assistance from Marathon comes at a time when the district is facing significant challenges and needs the community to show its support.
